Quinnipiac - a credible pollster - polled so-called battleground states.  Obama did well in this snapshot, which does not include the typical "swingstates" of Florida, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.

Colorado - Obama over McCain 49-44%

Michigan - Obama over McCain 48-42%

Minnesota - Obama over McCain 54-37%

Wisconsin - Obama over McCain 52-39%

Obama-philes should be happy, but not too happy.  McCain-iacs can take comfort in the fact that Michael Dukakis led George H.W. Bush by 15 points in June before the 1988 election.

More polls follow.

Survey USA has McCain rebounding to a 7 point lead in Missouri.

TN-Pres:  Rasmussen has McCain up 51-36%.

MS-Sen:  Former Governor Ronnie Musgrove (D) is tied with sort-of incumbent Roger Wicker (R) who was appointed to fill Trent Lott's seat.  47-46% respectively. (Rasmussen)

MS-Sen:  Incumbent Thad Cochran (R) is crushing challenger Erik Fleming, 59-32%. (Rasmussen)
