The Chinese plant that made the blood thinner, heparin, causing illness to at least 350 U.S. patients is owned by a Wisconsin company, Scientific Protein Laboratories.  That Chinese plant makes chemicals, not pharmaceuticals.  It is not licensed to sell human drugs even by the lax Chinese standards.

Remember that astounding fact that the Chinese drug regulator approved 7,500 new drugs each WORKDAY?  FDA approved 140 new drugs in one YEAR.

It really is hard to imagine this reality.
