Current Democratic Congressman Mark Udall and former Republican Congressman Bob Schaffer are virtually tied in the race to replace retiring Senator Wayne Allard.
Allard was horrible on trade, voting for any trade agreement he could find to run up a deficit.
Udall has been pretty good, but not really good. He voted against CAFTA in 2005.
I have no information on Schaffer.
At this point, Udall
is well ahead in the fundraising game - Schaffer got in late and
reported slightly over $700K raised in the second quarter, with no
report yet on the third quarter, while Udall has reported a total of
$3.8 million to date.
