America's trade deficit with China rose 5.7% in June.
This is an all time high, tying January 2007. The first six
months of 2007 are running 15.3% above the 2006 pace. If this pace
continues, the 2007 trade deficit will be about $925 billion with
China, or $2.5 billion per day.
Free traders say this is
ok. I wonder what their home finances look like. Are they
as self-deluded when it comes to their credit card bills?
