Here is the 60 Minutes piece on Buy American that aired Sunday evening, February 16, 2009.
Dan DiMicco of Nucor did a fine job as protagonist explaining the trade deficit and the need to keep jobs in America. The 60 Minutes team spent a lot of time looking at the Nucor steel recycling operation.
The antagonist was Caterpillar, continuing the "trade war/protectionist" hyperventilation theme.
