The following are comments made by Frank Shannon in response to an article in the Wall Street Journal written by Pat Toomey of the Club for Growth and available here:
"If there was ever an example of someone pointing fingers without
considering the other three pointing at themselves, this is it!!!
These Club for Growth idiots need to rename their organization to 'The
Club For Negative Growth' or 'The Republican Suicide Encouragement
Club'. And Toomey's title should be 'Chief Business Executioner'.
They lure Republicans into their agenda because Republicans (me included)
agree with 90% of their agenda which Toomey speaks to in the following piece. What Toomey avoids discussing in his piece, and publicly for the last 8 years, is the 10% where some Republicans violently disagree. That is maintaining the un-level playing field for international trade. This position (status quo on trade) has led to our current economic situation and the decimation of my Republican Party. This is their real purpose for existence but they don't talk about it publicly. If you go to their web site and look at their rating system for legislators this is obvious.
The Club's trade anarchy position has allowed their Wall Street buddies to plunder "Main Street, America" and other nations as their deploy their tactics to serve maximum profit for Wall Street regardless of the long-term national consequences.
Every Reagan Republican, Reagan Democrat and Roosevelt Republican should be shouting this from the highest buildings until The Club for Negative Growth becomes the pariah they deserve to be. No group, no party, no individual has brought more destruction to our economy, our security and our nation that these idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not ask me how I really feel. My response would cause your computer to explode and burn to a crisp. These idiots have been instrumental in destroying our economy and my political party."

meeting arrangements with legislators or their staff, we put together
materials, we plan a message, and we pack meetings together in a
concentrated period of time. You make a bigger impact with your time
using only three of the 365 days in the year.
