Obama and Doha - untrue rumor |

On November 7, I posted a rumor from Washington Trade Daily that the Obama folks have given a green light to a quick agreement (perhaps on modalities only) on Doha during the lame duck session. The UK's Gordon Brown team was the attributed source.
A confidential informer in an undisclosed location emailed me today saying that Obama's folks were contacted and deny this. I think this is true because Doha quick action is a contradiction of terms.
