Here is a list of the Senate seat changes. The balance of power is now 55 Democrats, 40 Republicans and 2 independents (Lieberman and Sanders).
Colorado: Mark Udall (D) beat Bob Schaffer (R) for Wayne Allard's open seat. 52-43%.
New Hampshire: Jean Shaheen (D) beat John Sununu (R), the incumbent. 52-45%. This was a rematch.
New Mexico: Tom Udall (D) beat Steve Pearce (R) for Pete Domenici's open seat. 61-39%.
North Carolina: Kay Hagan (D) beat Elizabeth Dole (R), the incumbent. 53-44%.
Oregon: Jeff Merkley (D) beat Gordon Smith (R), the incumbent. 49-46%.
Races still to be decided are below the fold.
Alaska: Ted Stevens (R), the incumbent, holds a lead over Mark Begich (D). 49-48%. The differential is 3353 votes as of now. 99% of precincts reporting. No word on how many votes to be counted.
Georgia: Saxby Chambliss (R), the incumbent, beat Jim Martin (D). 50-47%. But there will be an runoff election under Georgia law in December.
Minnesota: Norm Coleman (R), the incumbent, holds a 590 vote lead over Al Franken (D). The final count is not in. An automatic recount will be done under Minnesota law.
