The Dow was down by 39% from October 2007 at one point.  But Iceland.  Oh my.

Reykjavik’s benchmark index dropped almost 80 percent Tuesday, nearly a week after trading was stopped to give officials time to try to ease the crisis that has overwhelmed its once-flourishing financial sector.

The country is arranging financing from Norway and Denmark, and negotiating with Russia.
