Morici was named Marketplace's Forecaster of the Month for the third time in a year.
The U.S. economy has fundamental flaws and won't fully recover until three structural problems are addressed, said Peter Morici, a business professor at the University of Maryland and the winner of the MarketWatch Forecaster of the Month award for July.
