CO-Gov: Governor Bill Ritter (D) won't be running. His electoral prospects were poor. Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper (D) jumped in and now leads Scott McInnis (R) by 49-45% according to Rasmussen.

IL-Gov: We don't know the results of the Illinois primary race for governor. I don't follow governor's races much, because they are not directly trade relevant. But anyway.
The Republican primary has:
Bill Brady, a state senator, ahead of Kirk Dillard, another state senator, by just 503 votes, and Andy McKenna, a former state party chairman, was fewer than 8,000 votes behind Mr. Dillard.
The Democratic side:
Gov. Patrick J. Quinn, who was elevated a year ago from lieutenant governor in the aftermath of Rod R. Blagojevichs corruption scandal, appeared to be leading Dan Hynes, the states comptroller, by 7,202 votes (out of nearly 900,000 cast) with 99 percent of precincts counted.
