Speaker
Blasts Free Trade at R-CALF Convention

By Steve Miller

Rapid City Journal

Friday, January 22, 2010 10:00 pm

American manufacturers, workers and ag producers are getting clobbered
by U.S. free trade policies, and they need to stick together in fighting
for protection from unfair foreign competition.

That was the thrust of a speech delivered in Rapid City Friday by Brian
O’Shaughnessy, chairman of Revere Copper Products, a company founded in
1801 by Paul Revere — yes, that Paul Revere. O’Shaughnessy is also a
board member of the Coalition for a Prosperous America, which advocates
for trade policies that protect American industry.
