Please join us for CPA’s “Meet the Candidates of PA 12″ to learn about the candidates’ detailed positions on jobs and trade. Candidates will respond to prepared questions as well as questions from voters about trade, manufacturing, and the economy.
This is a unique chance to meet all three candidates for the new PA congressional district 12. Pre-registration will continue through Monday, 2/20/12, close of business. You can still register at the door day of event, but we are encouraging preregistration.
Due to redistricting, two of Pennsylvania’s current US Congressmen – Jason Altmire and Mark Critz – must compete in the April 24 Primary Election for the Democratic nomination in the newly formed 12th Congressional District. The winner will face the Republican nominee, who will likely be Kieth Rothfus, in the Fall General Election. Mr. Rothfus is currently unopposed in the Republican Primary. He ran against Mr. Altmire in the last congressional election, losing by less than 1%.
The District 12 event will focus on manufacturing, small business, and economic recovery issues, including how the candidates intend to address the impact of unfair trade.
